would you use lavender oil for a newborn?
I have a 3wk old baby girl and I was wanting to put a drop of lavender into her night-time bath to help her sleep. Is this too young? I have been using olive oil on her skin and had thought about adding some to this too. Any advice?
everyone is diferent, id check with a gp first, at that age you probably dont know what shes allergic to, so imagine you go ahead and use it and she has a serious reaction to it? (or not even that serious but a baby that age should be treated with extra care)
your doctor will know whats best. or, just try a drop on your wrist, and if youre fine, try a drop on her wrist and see how it goes.
also, i know this totally has nothing to do with anything, but my mother used special oil on my sisters eyelashes when she was a baby, and now her eyelashes are her best feature because theyre so thick and long, she doesnt need to wear mascara ! i bet your baby girl will apreaciate it so much when shes older, im so upset my mom didnt do it for me when i was tiny.
